The hidden treasure of Niger state

I have a years' bucket list for all the places I want to visit. Niger state has been on it for quite a while and considering that it wasn't too far from the state i resided, I should have struck it off the list earlier.
But life happened!

On 10th of this month, my spontaneous friend called early in the morning, saying she wanted to visit the Victorian waterfalls in Zimbabwe. I knew this was far from possible, as we were both broke. Travelling out of the country was just a fantasy!

But as a good friend, I set to work, I was going to find the waterfalls in our country. The Gurara waterfalls was described as heaven on earth , and it was just 2 hours away!

The drive to the fall was exhausting to be honest. The roads were in poor condition. I also thought the falls were in the main city, Alas it was located in a village. We had to walk for 10 minutes from the gate.
Walk to the falls
5 minutes from the falls, you start to feel the breeze, gently hit your face. You anticipate seeing the the falls itself. And no matter how prepared you were this breathtaking beauty, you will be astonised at its sight!.

Fascinating facts about Gurara falls.
